Birna smirked as Jynn took a jab at her. "We'll see." She wasn't the sort to bluff or pound her chest. She would let her victory speak for itself if she indeed managed to win this race. They lined up next to each other and Birna tensed, ready to spring into action. She focused on the trail ahead of her rather than Jynn's companion. Though her ears were small and round her hearing was sharp and as soon as Tahmores said go she was off like a shot. Despite her leaping ability it was Jynn's long legs that gave the canine the lead. Still, Birna persisted after and soon they reached the mountain. Birna leapt again, using her tail to balance as she scaled the rocky crevice toward the finish line.
