Times are changing

Kotori hardly ever stopped working on trying to shape this land as he pictured it.  Right now that meant working on making bridges.  He didn’t know a lot about how to make a nice-looking bridge though he would like some good crafters to make just that.  For the moment, Kotori had used his hard head and horns to push and roll a downed tree log close to the bank.  Unfortunately, the hill he’d used to keep it going was now gone and the land flat in this spot.

How to get the log across the span wasn’t even a problem till the tree was near the bank.  Ohho!  Kotori spotted his brother, calling out, “Hey, Mort!  Give me a hand here?” Two wolves could move the thing a lot easier than one.  Funny, in the armada he would have wanted to shoo some lower-class wolf into doing the manual labor.  Now that it was Kotori’s land and a dream he was shaping, it felt good taking up hard labor to see his accomplishments happen.
