Her opponent showed herself much faster than Vanta had expected - had Andy been here all along? She narrowed her crystal gaze suspiciously at her sister, glancing back and forth between first the other pup and then the very long way she would have had to run here to answer the call so quickly. Straightening a bit so she might give her sister a proper look of confusion, Vanta cocked her head and ventured a guess. "Have you been following me?" The words were not particularly accusatory nor offended, more surprised... with a hint of impressed. "Well then. Since you're just so sneaky, I'm going to have to be better than you in a different thing! On guard!!"

Her lip cocked up in a playful grin and she sank down to match Andy's play-bow. Tail lashing with excitement behind her, Vanta remembered to at least roll back her crystal-touched scruff like she'd been taught to. Everything else went out the window - after all, how did you hold a combat stance when you couldn't stand still? Father hadn't gone into detail on how to initiate while maintaining that pose.

She lunged with a puppy-ish yip of excitement, her grin wide as she dove at her sister and went immediately low. Aiming to find Andy's toes and to chew on them until the other girl decided to submit.
