Watching, Waiting

This valley was beautiful, Bellamy noticed. The grasses were thick, growing wildly and vividly with a rich green color. Large prey animals were scattered about, seeming to be drawn to this place. The woman watched them now, taking a break from her wanderings just to enjoy the sights and get to know the lands a little bit. Boreas had a lot to offer, and she was planning to visit Auster too, all the while becoming more heavily pregnant than when she left. She was sure Gavroche was bound to be getting worried by now, but she had promised her mate to be safe, to return in time to find a safe place to give birth. She glanced towards her widening belly, her green gaze softening. What sort of children would she and Gav have this time, she wondered? It felt as though there were definitely more of them this time, rather than the small litter she had with Lucette. She breathed a small sigh. Time would tell.
