a challenge!

Deep down, Andromeda just wants her family to be safe and that is why she had silently trailed after her sibling. She wasn’t trying to hide on purpose, she just… likes to be quiet. Vanta narrows her eyes and Andy’s ears slick back in worry wondering if her sister angry. Pale eyes follow her sister’s train of thought as she darts her crystalized gaze back the way they had come before looking back at the purple pup.

Heat floods purple cheeks as Vanta cocks her head, easily guessing what Andromeda had been up to. A shy, sheepish grin appearing as she shrugs her shoulders, not wanting to draw attention to the fact that, yes she had, and her sibling had not noticed her. Tail wags happily as Vanta speaks and tells her something about being on guard. Andy doesn’t know what that means but she eager dips down into a play bow, ready to fight!

The girls face each other, tails wagging high as they bow, Andromeda’s eyes flashing with excitement as the battle begins. Vanta lunges with a puppy yip and Andy immediately counters with an excited growl-yip of her own. Her sister goes for her toes (how dare she!) and Andy makes a high-pitched squeal of alarm as she tries to pull her toes away from her hungry sister’s mouth.

Andromeda knows that she can’t go her sister’s scruff because she has some crystal stuff there, so she opts for the next best thing and flops forward and sideways, aiming to try and lay her body over her sister’s. Maybe she can make the fight more even if they are both on the ground! As she falls, Vanta gets a few choice toe nibbles in and Andy squirms while growling happily as she goes.
