Her yearling opponent rose to meet her and Bellamy could only admire his drive. His paws slap out, hoping to catch her face and muzzle, and given their proximity manages to do so. Bellamy flinches but not much more, a seasoned warrior used to distractions, to small bits of pain. She manages to nip his ear, nothing more than a sharp pinch to the youth, but it is enough for the woman who was now holding onto him with her own forelegs to have gotten a small victory. It is just a spar after all and more serious injury is not necessary for her to win. Bellamy did not keep her hold, releasing her opponent's ear as he bites at the underside of her neck. He does not break skin either but the skin and fur bunch up uncomfortably in a sharp pinch. Hm, not bad. A reactive snarl bubbles up from within the dark-furred woman as she shifts tactics. Her opponent is smaller, lighter, and she attempts to wrap her forelimbs around him even tighter than before. Then, shifting her weight a little to distribute more of it to her front half, the woman seeks to drag the yearling to the earth to secure her victory. Her companions, seeing what their mistress was up to, both charge forward, Ears toward one back leg and Whiskers toward the other, attempting to throw their entire body weights into the yearling's back legs and compromise his balance. If he hadn't thought to right it before, it was something he could regret now! |
