Briar had only begrudgingly accepted her husband's insistence that she make the trip to meet her newest siblings in the cart that was pulled by one of their alpacas. Her mood and emotions were already swinging wildly as her hormones in the early stages of her pregnancy ran amok, so the trip there she fell everywhere on the spectrum from absolutely insulted that Artorias thought she was so fragile that she couldn't make the trip on her own to grateful that he had insisted so that she could rest and even nap along the way. She was only just far enough into her pregnancy to begin to show—her stomach rounded in a way that made it obvious that they were expecting, but certainly not large enough yet to cause any real hindrance in her daily life. Still, Artorias wouldn't hear of her making a trip to the northern parts of Boreas without riding in the cart so if it was that or not meet them until well after her own children were born then she would make the compromise.
When they neared the border, she heard her father's howl, soon followed by Kotori's and Artorias as the males began to convene and find each other in the woods that were claimed by the Armada. She stopped the alpaca that had been pulling her along through the trip and stepped off of the cart before they reached them, refusing to be seen in such a state, and gave her fur a quick shake to smooth it before she trotted over to Artorias' side to go meet up with their family. She of course saw her father and littermate first and smiled while Artorias went to greet and embrace his father in law, but as Art did that she glanced behind Kotori and saw Asla and Indigo walking up behind their brother to join in on the group as well. Her gaze widened with pleasant surprise and a big grin spread over her features.
"Asla!" she greeted excitedly as she hurried over to her older sister, embracing her happily while her braided tail swayed rapidly behind her. It had been so long since she had seen Asla and she was very much happy that she had decided to come. As soon as she leaned back from her sister she pivoted to Indigo, giving him a grin and embracing the larger man as well. She didn't know Indigo nearly as well as Asla, but all of her memories of him were fond ones and she was just happy to be around all of her family again.
