Wherever Cel went, Kuroki followed. In all honesty, he sort of had mixed feelings about leaving Ashen. On one paw it was his home, the only one he'd ever had and all his family (well most of it) lived there. But on the other, it was obvious to all involved he was the black sheep, always had been and always would be. He could love them from afar though, surely, and there was no reason he couldn't visit. If the fancy took him.

Cel had chosen a nice, secluded spot and all. Warmer than he was used to, with a blaring sun that just wouldn't quit, but the oasis was a lovely touch. Somewhere she could recline beneath the shade of a palm tree and get all comfortable as he did the heavy lifting, as was her right, as the leader he guessed. Still, a man could bitch and moan half-heartedly, toss sour looks over his shoulder as he panted under the midday sun.

"You sure you're comfy enough?" He asked, pausing for a moment to let himself have a breather. He'd stumbled upon a few natural warrens and was merely extending them, adding extra entryways and eventually adding timbre to reinforce them. Lots of work to do with little help, oh the things he did for her. "I could get you a pillow? Maybe some furs." His tone was as dry as the sand he stood upon.
