Reminiscing the past

Actaea Praetor

She had made quite the trip today, putting in a lot of miles from her den to make it here. She had started out quite early as well wanting to make sure she would have some time to spend here for the day. Right now she was sitting and staring east at the site of volcano she was born at the base of. Her good eye was narrowed as she started intensely letting herself get lost in her thoughts. Seeing the volcano again brought back the bittersweet memories of childhood. Her gaze moved to her paws before looking to the plains before her. This place was part of her growing up as well. The pack of Abaven were she had been after Ruina had disbanded. She had missed this place, the pack, and the wolves that had been in it. Another pack that had dispersed while she had been kidnapped.

So much change had her feeling a bit overwhelmed, but she had been trying to bury it by looking for herbs and teaching her daughter healing techniques. Actaea was stuck because she felt it would be better for them to be within a pack so that Ulula’s teachings could be more diverse, but Actaea didn’t know a thing about these newer packs and was hesitant to even approach any borders. She still wasn’t used to this parenting thing and wished she had her uncle to look to for advice. Heck even any friends from Abaven would have been nice to have, but she was stuck. Huffing the scarred wolf stood her good eye looking back to the East for a few moments before she turned away from it and began to make her way along the plains, scouting and hunting her herbs. Her companions were not far off gathering herbs as well.
