Dead. It was the word he couldn't say, but it was the only thing he knew to describe her. His father had assured them that he'd killed her, many had witnessed the murder, or requested-suicide.. however one viewed it. There were two things he was sure of, his father was gone somewhere, and his mother was dead. Now one of those things had just been stripped from him - or so it seemed. She embraced him, her cheek brushing against his. It was something he could feel, but not altogether enjoy. It was different. He breathed a sigh, knowing he must still be dreaming, why else would she feel so strange? Emerald met cyan as he gazed at her, still perplexed - shock still written across every inch of his face. "I never thought I'd see you again," he murmured, now shockingly sad for no apparent reason. His mother stood here before him, altogether beautiful and whole again. If only Gerhardt could see. "Are you..." he started, halting momentarily before continuing. "Are you yourself again?" It had been clear to everyone that just before her death she had not been entirely whole.
