How To Herd Jello Cats

Keahi and the other wards for the pups herd the small gaggle into a cave near the back of the Col. It is chosen because it is an easy to defended position, with only one way out or in. Once inside, Keahi works to help settle the young pups. The excitement that those answering the raiders have can be felt in the air and the pups seem to be feeding on it.

Grim and Ruga help make sure that the den is secure while the red woman and Zee work with attempting to calm the pups. Questions fly through the air like gnats and she darts a glance to their mother, wondering what all they should tell them. Clearing her throat, Keahi pulls the younglings attention to her and she smiles, saying, “What do you all say to a game?”

Blue eyes flick over to Zee and she raises an in silent question, asking if this is a good idea. She wants to keep the pups engaged so that they are less likely to sneak off but, in such a small area, their choice of games is limited. Still, Keahi is certain that they can think of something and a grin rests on her lips as she waits to hear the general consensus.
