Karmen was happily tucked away in the blankets of slumber, happily willing to take an early rest period in order to prepare her body and mind for warfare. Alas, the sun was setting and bleeding a flesh-coloured light onto the snow. She twitched her peachy nose, dreaming of jewels and pearly beauties that only a woman could crave so. She had been avoiding her Empress for some time - Karmen was very talented in the art of grudge holding. She was disappointed that the former leader Ozz had escaped with her life. The meager scaring that was inflicted on her face did not assuage the golden nymph - traitors should not be ostracized, but slaughtered on site, with no hesitation, and no time to powder your nose. But her sleepy murmurs and musings were full of delightful revenge, necklaces strung together with pearls, and a man who would spoil her until she got sick of him. When she heard the call to summon her, she rose her delicate face from her front paws, immediately pinning her ears to the back of her skull. Interrupting her beauty sleep was out of the question - practically a crime against God.

She rose to her paws, ridding of the excess snow in her fur with a few swift shimmies. Her eyes were still rimmed with the unobtainable desires of her dreams and sauntered to the lady who awoke her - Canttina. When she found the Empress, alone and practically dead, no sign of emotion flickered across her face. She did not furrow her brow, or question the injuries Canttina had sustained, she just felt a familiar rage wrap it's fingers around her heart in a gripping vice. ?My love,? she would call in cold fondness, ?You have not seen a healer yet. Nor informed me that I should be in looking more into our affairs, since you are inadequate for the job.? She lifted her chin in the air, and she would not admit that she was concerned for the skull-wearing heathen, instead scold her, rip into her with words.

Karmen did not stoop down to her side, but seated herself a few fathoms away from the wolf, curling her lengthy caudal appendage along her voluptuous hips, her lashes narrowing over her willow-green eyes as she scrutinized her Queen. Finally, she tore her gaze and craned her neck, beginning to groom the honey-gold locks of hair on her shoulder, tending to her beauty while a single ear was cocked in Canttina's direction.
