She Sells Sea Shells by the Sea Shore

She was very much interested and excited about what Rivin had told her. She could eat these things!? She wondered how they tasted, and how she could get them open. Did she crack them open like an egg? She didn't want to ruin the pretty shells...Oh! But the pearls inside! She didn't know what a pearl was or what it looked like, but she was interested in finding out! "I wanna see a pearl!" She exclaimed, hopping another few steps as Rivin ran to get a bucket. It didn't take long for Rivin to come back with one, and as she was about to drop it in the bucket, Rivin told her about trying to keep as much sand out as possible. "Oop!"

She briefly dropped her pawful of sand and oyster on the ground as a wave came up, letting the shallow water clean off the oyster before she picked it back up and dropped it in the bucket. She grinned and giggled at the little clang it made as it hit the bottom, and she promptly turned to dig for another while Rivin did the same. "Look! Is this an oyster too!?" It looked different, more like a few other shells she had seen littered around the beach. Only this one looked like...what did her mom say? A clam? It was white with little ridges. Only there wasn't anything in it, and there was only half of it. She picked it up and dropped it in the bucket with the oyster, "Did you find any more?" She asked as she set back to digging a few feet away.
