"If we're lucky we'll be able to find a pearl or two. Or… wait. Hmm… was it oysters that had them? Or clams?" Rivin furrowed her brow. "I dunno. If we collect all the ones like this we should find the ones with pearls. There's another type like this called a mussel too." She finally freed the oyster and used the waves to wash it off before adding it to the bucket.

Seeing the shell in there Rivin scooped it out. "This one is just a seashell now. Unless there are two of them together it won't be any good - no meat in them." She wiggled. "Daddy had a fire going near the ship, too. We could ask him for help cooking them. We could make some soup! Soup is yummy, it warms up your insides." She looked around.

"Looks like we can gather more over here!" She moved to a new spot and started to dig.
