The newest litter of Fatalis pups had been carted down to the Hallows to visit some other, new pups and Andy is taking every opportunity she can to go explore. These lands are strange and, the minute they had crossed into Auster, Andy had immediately been drawn the white powdery stuff that coated everything in the berry grove. Even more puzzling is the way the lands they next traveled through have a magical feel about them. Still, that sparkling white stuff has been calling to her since the purple pup set paw into the castle.
After the meet and greet with the pups and the family had gotten all settled into their rooms, Andy began to bide her time and wait for the perfect moment to slip away. It finally came and the purple girl managed to make it away, seemingly unnoticed, by her parents. Once she hits the open plains, Andromeda breaks into a run, tongue lolling out the side of her mouth as she races toward the powdery stuff.
A shadow circles overhead, her dad’s bird friend never missing a beat and silently trailing after the loose pup. But Andy does not notice; the thrill of a new place and new experiences is too exciting for her. The plains give way to trees and berry laden bushes, and further in, what she has been looking for. Paws slow as the sparkling blanket of snow comes into view, the girl’s eyes rounding in wonder.
Rushing into the stuff, Andromeda yelps in surprise at how cold it is. However, that does not stop her from crunching through it, kicking up the powder as she goes. With a laugh, the pup reaches her head down to snap up some of the cold, crunchy stuff in her maw and bites down on it. Its edible? Wonder, joy, and excitement fill her to the brim as she races around, laughter following after her.
Unbeknownst to the pup, her ruckus is drawing the attention of a predator from the nearby dam. A greedy caiman makes it way slowly toward the playing pup, spying an easy dinner in the making.
