Her taunting sarcasm only leaves him laughing. Surely, if his wife hadn't been feet away, engaged in battle herself, he would have retorted with an equally snarky comment. It wouldn't matter anyway as his teeth were gnashing upon the girl's cheek. The thrill of the fight surged in him as he felt her wrap around his shoulders and hold on tight. Even as she scrambled to reach up and grab ahold of his ear, he continued to try and hold his head back as best as he could to avoid the same ear-torn fate. In the process, he continued to try and snap and gnash harder at her face until she would hopefully be left with scars. What's one more wolf with a permanent reminder that he was someone to fear?
