Desponia actually did not intend to participate in this whole weirdness. She had every intention of just putting her head down and pushing through the steppe, but the familiars were skilled herders it seemed and before she even knew what was happening someone had shoved some straw into her mouth and was pushing her toward an open spot. Or well... Open was a pretty fluid term apparently as she watched helplessly as a familiar man sat down but the familiar who was pushing her was somehow much stronger than she'd normally assume and she stumbled towards the black and white man. Her mouth full of straw so she couldn't even say anything as she managed to catch her balance right in front of him. She narrowed her eyes and dropped her straw and fell into a seating position, glancing around at what other wolves were doing and she glared down at her straw.

She wasn't exactly interested in making a good doll but it seemed she'd been somewhat voluntold into participating in the event so she might as well try. She did not speak to the man, though she clearly was carefully watching him as he worked, idly starting to push her own straw into a basic boxy shape for a torso.
