Eyes dance with joy as Jack turns and walks several steps away before turning to once again face Aresenn. Raising his voice slightly so that he can be heard, Jack says, “Okay set your defenses! When you are ready, thump your paws on the ground and I will attack! Since we are training, try not to draw blood… okay?” While he waits for Aresenn to get ready, Jack sets his stance, bunching up his scruff and narrowing his eyes in preparation for the spar to come.
