Zee was emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausted. Her weariness had begun to stack exhaustion upon her in layers, even Sirius' fussing was becoming impossible to tolerate. He was just doing his best to ensure she was as comfortable and well taken care of as any dying wolf could be, but still sometimes she wished she could slip away in the night for some peace. When the knock on the door sounded, Zee gave a sigh of relief. It would be medication or a visitor or something else, but any of those options had a very high possibility of forcing her over-the-top husband to stop his incessant fussing. She sat back as Sirius went to answer the door, stretching her neck out and enjoying the few moments of solitude while he met with whoever might be knocking at this hour.
