what strange occurrences

Inferno watched as a rabbit - its fur mostly brown but frantically growing white patches from the change in season, hopped across her path. She'd caught and eaten a rabbit earlier that day outside of the autumn lands, but it had been fully brown. The season's change was affecting the small animals that lived there, too, it seemed. Her thought was suddenly cut off when icy cold water suddenly came splashing down onto her head from the tree above her. Now she really yelped, and jumped as the cold liquid trickled down her ears and the back of her neck. What the hell? She looked up into the tree, but there was nothing there, just a swaying branch that must have dumped the water on her. Well, that was her cue to get out of here - unlike the rabbit, her coat hadn't adjusted for the change in season, and that was cold.
