Never had a grandparent before...
Hanni
Hannibal continuously drifted in the fields of somnium. There was peace and tranquility comforting him. It was delightful. Until he felt that pull. The pull of something beckoning him out of his rest and into another realm. It shocked the man at first but he felt nothing but the desire to comply. When one is subject to nothingness for eternity they would leap at the chance for something. Thus, he followed the pull, finding himself melding his consciousness in that of something that was most definitely not his physical body... As the world came into the view Hannibal already knew something was off. This was much different then his former body. No, he wasn't even a Wolf. The male took a few careful steps and craned his neck every which way to get a glimpse of himself. Was he a... Rat? A slim pink tail shot out from his plump rump and his fur was pure white. He had no clue what to make of such a situation. Hannibal had been pulled from his rest to roam the realm of the living as a rodent. After a few moments of figuring out his new body Hannibal knew he wasn't alone. That tiny nose twitched in response to a scent filling his nose. Instinctually his little rodent cowered at the smell of a Wolf. But, he was not frightened in the least. He was a Wolf. Or was he? The confusion returned but he tucked it back away as tiny pink paws carried on towards the source of the slightly familiar smell. A rather small male Wolf sat in the distance. Hannibal figured immediately that this Wolf had to be of his blood. The piebald coat was a clue but those markings were very similar to Recluse's, his own daughter. Thus, Hannibal decided he wished to meet whatever Klein resembling creature this was. - He skittered closer but decided it would be much more entertaining to give the yearling a spook, or try too. So the grandfather decided to remain in the brush, tucking himself below a large leaf to conceal his white fur, and he began to speak. "Is the little Klein afraid of the haunted forest?" A little smirk slipped across his Rat lips as he watched with anticipation.
