Kotori isn’t going to let the bear go forward.  As Kore goes for the neck Kotori is charging into to face the bear eye-to-eye.  Still, as he readied to charge in he spotted the flashy colored wolf managed to hit an artery, and the only already badly damaged bear was guaranteed death.

Kotori would never have labeled himself soft-hearted or concerned about any other sort of predators but that didn’t mean he saw any reason to be cruel just for the sake of it.  Anyway, he enjoyed fighting so while it was hardly a challenge anymore Kotori would finish what had been started.  The horned wolf charged in, slamming his horns into the opposite side of the neck, slashing them out, and then sinking his fangs into the wound.  

Kotori stepped back, watching as the final glimpses of life were already fading. The pool of blood had grown considerably.
