Before we feast
Ciaran

Briar had a feeling that she probably wasn't the fun parent when it came to learning things about fighting. After all, their sons at least had very much taken an interest in wielding a sword just like their father so of course Artorias would be the go to for those kinds of lessons. However, they had to do something other than fighting from time to time! That's where she tried to focus her attention when it came to teaching their children about the world and her sweet Ciaran had shown at least a bit of interest in hunting so she thought that perhaps she could cultivate a bit of that curiosity with him.
Since she needed to prepare dinner for their family anyway, she brought Ciaran along, deciding this was the perfect chance to start showing him a bit of how to dress something he caught. There was a doe waiting in the kitchen that she had asked Ezra not to fully break down so that she could show her promising hunter some of the ropes. She brought her son over to the counter, pulling over a stool and helping him up onto it so he could see over the edge. The doe was already cut down along its stomach and it's organs already out of the way. "See how Ezra cut along here?" she said, lifting a paw and pointing from one end of the incision to the other. "It's really helpful to keep a knife or at least a dagger with you when you go hunting to do something like this. If you can remove the guts it makes the animal lighter and easier to carry back home."
