Something's changed

It didn't take long for the much larger Ardyn to appear with a woof of welcome and settle beside her. Corbie returned his tail wag with one of her own and a smile, but the simple question turned her smile to one of wry embarrassment. "Well," she started with a faint laugh, her ears hot. "I've made a pack. Fought for it, to keep Abaven's legacy out of Kotori Fatalis' paws. It wasn't my finest decision, and I never would have expected to have ever done it, but..." She shrugged. "I don't regret it. Now that it's done, I... I suppose its something that I've been missing all along."
