It's not long before someone shows up. He's bigger than her by a decent margin, but not as big as Bas. Dark, with bi-colored eyes. Hazel locks her gaze upon his, though a flicker of recognition crosses as he introduces himself. A Klein-- someone else under the empire, but not anyone she's met. "Hazel." Her tone is clipped, all business. She stumbles short of calling herself anything else. Pleasantries, though there's little pleasant about the yearling. Her shoulders hunch slightly, and the girl reminds herself to keep her guard up on her weak right side.

Hackles up along her back, the girl surged forward. It's without fanfare, the movement fast and maybe a bit dirty. Hazel feinted to the left and then surged to the right, making use of her smaller size and perceived better agility. Crystalline fangs glimmering in the sunlight as she attempted to tag the brute, an approximation of the area where his neck and shoulder met. Her own shoulders hunched under her cape, hoping to rely on the protection that would grant. Ideally, she'd be able to scrape her teeth against his flesh and continue moving, but there was no telling if she'd actually be able to make it out without her momentum stopping. Here's to hoping.
