Blood always seemed to call the predators in. The metallic-sweet scent hit her nose and she immediately snapped her holographic gaze in the direction it had come from, not moving anything else on her body. The dark figure that shifted through the trees appeared to be a bear of some sort, but the blood she could smell from recent injuries to the figure told her it was, in fact, a wolf. The ivory bitch-goddess had never been made to feel so small in her entire life, but as the multi-colored mass moved closer to her she could feel her eyes widen against her will in absolute shock. The wicked woman had enough sense to keep the majority of her expression from her face, though the temptation to challenge him just for his size was present given her foul mood. A soft screech reached her ears as his falcon friend dipped from the skies to his shoulder, looking more like a bird on the back of a rhino than a predatory species. Lurid felt something in her mood shift, despite the fact she couldn't take the dark thoughts from her mind entirely.
She said nothing for a moment before she moved suddenly, standing to her feet in a flash and shaking the snow from her crystalline pelt, the translucent hairs reflecting moonlight and making gold and silver sparkle and shine in the moonlight. Holographic lavender seemed to flash white for a moment as she turned her gaze once again to the boy, her dual-toned vocals seeming to float across the space between them on a crystalized breath in the darkness. The effect of her voice was not unlike two beings speaking in stereo, one with a slightly higher pitch and the other gave a low, husky tone.
