The children were at last allowed out of the den, and eagerness brought Morticia scrambling out of the den after her sister. The world outside the den was vast and open, and the girl looked upon it with wide, multi-hued eyes. “Woah!” Everything the rainbow-marked pup was feeling was summarized at that moment. There was soft, slightly brown grass at her paws, and the pup liked the feel of it. She wasn’t sure if their brother would follow out of the den as quickly, but if he didn’t, that was okay too! She looked toward Rou, giddy and energetic as she bounced in place. “Morticia wants to find a lizard with Rou! Yes, yes!” Then, without any sort of plan, the girl took off into the open world around them in hopes of spotting the lizard her sister mentioned. She didn’t even think to wait for her siblings, nose to the ground and tail wagging once she set off.
