After a few more nibbles of Rabbit Verity licked her lips and was ready to go. She sat patiently as Mother tidied up a little bit. The promise of herb gathering made the girl fidget with anticipation. Verity idly wondered what they would find. "Where?!" The question bursts from her mouth before she could even think it over.

They moved towards the Rio at a decent pace. Verity was much slower then her Mother due to not only her age but her size. She was significantly smaller then any other pup her age. It seemed she was just petite by nature. Mother assured her it was nothing to think much about since what mattered was her mind. But, it did mean one of her steps was near three or four of Banshee's. Obviously Mother was good about slowing her pace.

Mother mentioned making a bag and Verity offered a small nod. "We could use... Hide and.... Twigs!" Having been so sheltered she often found ways to entertain herself which meant some experimentation with crafting. Verity surely would keep an eye out for any good twigs that could be of use. The hide would have to come from fresh catch which Mother would definitely have to help with.

As Banshee ordered her to not get so close to the edge Verity offered a small agreeable nod and, "Okay." She remained a healthy distance from the bank as small paws carried her behind her mom. The riverbank was beaming with life. But, so far she mostly saw weeds, grass, and algae.
