Lesson One: Poultices

The small girl bustles around a wide clearing as she finished up preparation for the training she has planned. In part, the inspiration has come from been some new face that have been joining the Ashen ranks and, among them, are new healers. Seere is determined to help those interested in the art of healing so she had approached her aunt with an idea. Venom had approved and the young healer immediately got busy planning.

Now, she in the area, taking another count of the items she has at the tables she set up for the students. Moving to each station, she checks and double checks the suppled herbs and the items laid out, satisfied that she has everything. It had taken time to set up the clearing and she had needed help hauling up the tables but it all seems worth it as she scans the area. The stations are set up in a wide circle, with enough room to move freely around all sides of them. In the center of the clearing is a fire pit, carefully burning away with a metal grate over it.

The fire is duel propose, they will need it for what they are making but it also helps to stave off the chill of the autumn morning. With everything in place, the excited, yet nervous healer tips her head back and releases a call for all of the healers within the pack that wish to learn. Moving to stand in front of the area, Seere helps to guide the wolves to stations as the arrive, a warm smile on her lips and tail wagging happily behind her as she greets them.

Once they are all gathered and each one is set up at a station, she moves to stand behind the one she set aside for herself and happily says, “Morning everyone! For those that I have not met before, my name is Seere Abraxas-Destruction. Thank you all so much for coming! Today we are going to be learning how to make some poultices and putting them in the healing stores. First things first, does anyone know what a poultice is?” Mismatched gaze roams the group, waiting for answers while fitting names and faces together.
