grïmmjow had an inkling that this male would pounce.. and sure enough, incubus did exactly that. had grïmm been distracted in any way he'd surely be on his ass with sickening fangs inching deeper into his scruff. however, the fact he knew what the brute would do prior to his opponent initiating any sort of attack, allowed for grïmmjow to act swiftly. though the attack from incubus had been sudden, grïmm wasn't quick enough to shift his body to his left in order to avoid the haunting jowls of his foe.

as if things moved in slow motion, the herculean man watches as incubus' fangs slice through the soft tissue of his scruff, and grïmmjow lets rip a ferocious growl that reverberates deep inside of his chest cavity. ignoring the hot ichor that seeps into his thick black fur, he decides to act quickly and without hesitation. he had no time to think, though strategy and charisma were his forte rather than brute strength. just then, the slow of time seemed to fall back into place again as grïmmjow side-steps his body further to the left, rearing up on his back legs ever so slightly, his left fore-paw swinging out - claws hunting for blood. thus, grïmm aims to slam his left paw down onto the right side of incubus' face, hoping his claws successfully rake down across the male's face.
