Verity flinched slightly when those slightly venomous tones were heard and honestly she didn't know how to answer that question. The girl had a cover over her eyes and seemed to have some trouble navigating, so yes, it did look like she could benefit from help. But, Ver knew that if she were in Kite's paws that that question would get rather annoying. Which was why it had taken a while for Ver to offer in the first place. Despite understanding where the other girl was coming from she was still a little sore from the tone. They sat together for a moment before those beautiful eyes were revealed. Verity allowed her pale green gaze to pour into the crystals with vivid curiosity. She had never seen something like that before. But, what really took her by surprise was the compliment that came next. Verity's ears flicked back and her eyes shifted down to her paws, suddenly feeling slightly shy. Heat flooded her cheeks as her soft voice was heard, "Thank you." Suddenly hyper aware of herself Verity deflected the attention back on Kite. Allowing her eyes to quickly return to the other's, "Does the light hurt your eyes?" |
