Sometimes We All Need A Distraction

She hadn't been this way in such a long time. The pale she-wolf hardly left Valhalla lands these days, or at least, hardly strayed from its borders since she had joined. But today she would, and she did. She headed towards the lake that Aerie once laid claim to, their former neighbors were no longer there and had long since left. Where they went, she didn't know. She just hoped the one she had helped was doing well. Especially after the traumatic experience of that day. Noelle wondered if there were any markers for the young lives that were lost. And if there were, it was probably somewhere well hidden that only that she-wolf would know about. She found herself feeling saddened by the memory, and so chose to distract herself by heading towards the water's edge to just listen to the water gently lap at the edge of the shore and the occasional call of a bird or chirp of a bug. She came here with a task to do, but that could wait. She wasn't in any particular rush.
