By the time she finished with the deer her hunting partner had bolted off after the fleeing herd, and all she saw was a flash of brown in the trees. With a powerful leap Iðunn set off after him, following the trail of paw prints and hoof prints that left the snow a flurried mess. She weaved in and out of the large trees, her lithe form easily keeping track of where her intended targets where heading, and before too long she finally began to catch up to them.
His voice carried back to her as his earthen form came into view, and she changed her course of action to move in a half-circle, cutting off any possible escape to the other side. She let out a few snarls to scare it from trying to veer sideways, snapping her jaws together loudly. It was healthy and fast, but she was built for speed over semi-long distances. Her head twisted sideways to glance at the other wolf, wanting to keep him in her peripheral for when he gave another signal or instruction. This was his hunt, and she'd follow his cues.
She could see the narrow passage up ahead as the mountain side loomed into view through the large trees, and staying light on her toes she herded the deer towards it, feeling the thrill of the chase burn through her veins.
