Sakana took a moment to contemplate his mother’s question… land, or sea? He looked to the roiling waves and allowed his ears to fall back against his head, tail tucking ever so slightly. Nah. He didn’t need any of that. “Land!” He said with conviction, surprising even himself at the voice that he had managed to find. His toes wiggled in the sand, he hadn’t really gone anywhere other than the beach or the cavern so far. “Can we ‘splore somewhere not sandy or rocky?” He asked with a tip of his head. He wasn’t even sure there was such a thing, but surely that stretch of green at the edge of their territory felt different?
