Headbutt challenge!

As much as the smaller pup hates headbutts, she also loves spending time with her brother, Corbin. Since he thinks himself a sheep, it is up to Haydée to grin and bear the pain that follows each meeting that is similar to this. But, if she is going to be in a headbutt challenge, then they need to do it right. Ducking under Corbin’s attack, the girl pops back up on the other side and proclaims that she was unready for the attack, which is true.

Corbin easily agrees with her and she gives him a sharp nod as he backs up to get some momentum behind the upcoming attack. Haydée spreads her paws, taking a deep breath and pinning her ears back as she readies herself. The pain will be temporary but the joy this will bring her brother will all be worth it in the end. He play bows to her, tail waving like a flag behind him asshe narrows her eyes, readying for the moment that is soon to follow.

He explodes forward, takes off with great speed as he races the short distance toward her. A shout follows him and she tenses the muscles in her shoulders and neck while bring her snout down. Emerald watch him and, right before he reaches her, she lifts her front end upward so that she meets him on his way down. Time seems to slow as heads draw closer and closer together. And then, the world seems to hold its breath as the moment of impact suddenly arrives.
