Kea huffed as she declared her line in the sand. “If you want to pick the flowers over me, then maybe I’ll stick some thorny roses in your bed!” He huffed, his voice a little puffed from the effort of holding her down, and garbled by the ear in his mouth.

He heard Tally snapping her teeth near his own ear, and then he felt her mouth smack his elbow. Open mouth meant her little teeth grazed against his skin. He let go off her ear and gave her a teasing scowl and playful growl. After a moment's thought, he went to poke his muzzle in the direction of her eye, mouth ajar so he could lick her eyeball if he got the chance. What could he say? Boys were gross.
