She smirked when he told her that the cleaning up was more fun than making the mess and she glanced at the leaves that his beating wings had scattered around, clumping them together in places and spreading them out in others. She couldn't be certain since she wasn't here before his fun with the "cleaning" but she was pretty sure he had made more mess than not. "I'm sure it is," she mused with a little grin. Bringing her turquoise gaze back up toward her avian son as he began to shuffle closer to her, her ears perked slightly with surprise as he leaned down to pluck the leaves from her antlers that had gotten caught up in the tines in the leaf storm he created. Briar grinned up at him gratefully, chuckling softly as she said, "Thank you, darling. It's hard to know what's above my head."
While Zephyrus pulled a few leaves off of his large talons, he questioned what else they could do in the leaves, mentioning how fun they were. "Well, I can think of a few useful things to do with them, but I don't know how fun those are," she replied, looking up at him with amusement. "We could turn them into compost to make fertilizer for the garden or maybe collect a bunch to make garland and wreaths to decorate the castle." Neither of those sounded very fun for a huge, youthful bird though. While she wasn't usually a fan of making a mess or causing more work later, she did make a lot of exceptions when it came to having fun with her children. "Ooooor, we could push them all into a pile to jump into," she suggested with a slightly mischievous smile.
