There was still light flowing in from the outside world. Enough to help them see, but not so much that it caught in the fission of her eyes and blinded her. Squinting a little distrustfully, she looked about the little nook. Everything had a green tinge. What light was able to make it through was tinted by the bushes that surrounded them. The soil was a little damp beneath her paws, and she shifted her weight thoughtfully, before returning her gaze to Verity.
The other wolf was dark tinged, and the light tones of green stood out in sharp contrast, and Kite couldn’t help but point it out. Seeing the other wolf blush, the Fatalis wolf grinned. It wasn’t often she got to see the reactions of others. And the question, the smile vanished. Replaced by a faint scowl. “Light catches in the crystals, and amplifies it back into my real eyes beneath. It’s like staring directly into the sun, but worse.” She explained.
