A gift and a lesson

Verity was busy arranging and dusting her various jars of both fresh and dried herbs. She had built a small shelving unit to go in her den. The dried herbs were on the top while the fresh tucked away, awaiting drying. Mother told her she needed to keep it neat and tidy that way there were no mixing up what was what. The last thing you wanted to do as a healer was give a patient the wrong herb.

Just as she was placing a new jar on the top shelf two howls back to back made it's way into her den. The first for Venom but the next was for herself. Verity froze with shock for a moment. After quickly adjusting the jar to be perfectly in line with the others Ver made her way to the call, not wanting to make her Grandfather wait too long.

The small girl arrived promptly with a small smile on her lips. The massive Wolf was leaned against a Bear. A truly impressive sight that made her tail swish with excitement. Verity padded up to Sirius and offered a cock of her head, "Is everything okay, Grandpa Seere?" Calling him grandpa was new and she was testing it on her tongue. But, the youngling enjoyed the way it sounded and there was something about Sirius that Verity really enjoyed. She felt incredibly comfortable around the titan.
