no mercy, no tact

In a blue of movement one of the coyotes was suddenly on the ground being torn up by the larger wolf. For a moment Inoki stared speechless, and perhaps a little impressed. But the snarling of the second one had her refocusing, and she quickly turned on it. Elindine clung to the back of her neck, standing up tall and waving her forearms in the air, and for a moment the coyote wavered. That was all she needed.

Inoki darted forward, jaws opened wide as she snapped at the coyote, catching it on the side of its muzzle. It had been torn between standing its ground and fleeing, and she used that hesitation to her advantage to make it bleed. She shook her head wildly, feeling the skin between her teeth rip, and as the coyote screeched loudly and pulled back she let go. It skittered backwards with a series of yelps, but Inoki advanced on it threateningly until it fully turned tail and sped away, leaving a dust trail in its wake.

She then turned back to the other wolf and coyote, considering for a moment jumping in to help, but it appeared as if the woman had it all under control. She glanced over her shoulder to check that Elindine was okay before slowly circling the wolf and coyote, just in case things got out of hand.
