Lesson One: Poultices

As her son appears and joins her, Eulogy offers him a warm, encouraging smile and moves to wrap one of her forelegs around his own. She silently attempts to offer him some strength and show her gratitude that he is here, with her, as the lesson begins. The monochrome healer instructs them to open their herb packets and the older woman scoots the small leather packet toward Spirit so he can open it.

Untangling her leg from his, she pulls the metal pot toward them so that they can place the items into the container as the small healer explains. Humming thoughtfully as each ingredient is identified, Eulogy leans in toward her son and whispers, “At least they all smell really nice.” A small chuckle is given as she gives him a wink and places the oil into their pot. With that done, she leans gently into Spirit’s side, offering a smile and nod to Seere as she passes by their station.
