Mouthful of Razors

It was the scent of a kill that wafted from the depths of the ship she had come to inhabit that drew the monstrous goddess further into the cavernous depths. her nose told her it was wolf blood on the air, and her mouth watered at the scent. Curiosity piqued, the pale devil moved into the dark with the ease of one who was born to the abysmal black. The scent grew stronger as she followed the blood trail that led to the darker areas of her beloved ship, licking at the metallic liquid as she went. Definitely lupine, it called to the predator in her. With a soft, hungry growl, Lurid moved quietly until she neared the source of the smell. It was then, and only then that she allowed her nails to click against the metal floors, to alert any predator that she was closing in. There was no big cat or bear scent, only the scent of a male in his prime, coming upon one door in particular where the scent originated. Eyes made for the darkness quickly spied the glowing yellow-red of the male and his feasting form. She sat in the doorway, knowing better than to interrupt a monster and his feast. "Good evening." Blodreina only uttered this one phrase to the male, her dual-toned voice ringing softly in the silence around them. Secretly she wanted his meal, but this one seemed as though he would fight her for it. Still, she would not run if it came to that, the bloody queen was not known to balk at a fight.
