The Legend

Decades ago the great explorer and professor of human studies, Stalwart Paw, arrived in Boreas. Following the trail of a mysterious migrating group of humans he collected knowledge and a number of rare, and beautiful, artifacts. His travels took him throughout Boreas and Auster before tragedy struck. Without a trace Stalwart Paw disappeared along with the treasure he'd collected. No one knew what became of him. As war and famine infiltrated his home land, the search parties stopped coming and he was left for dead. His treasure and interest in humans deemed irrelevant to the crises going on in the world.

Years later rumor of his treasure began to filter through the lands. Those desperate to make their fortunes followed every lead they could find, but to no avail. The mystery of Stalwart's fate as well as his treasures remains unsolved.

The Present

Jynn has escorted her former companion Sævor back to the jaguar's homeland. While there she shared drinks and tales with Sævor's suitor, Kala. The man claims to be the descendent of Stalwart's companion, the lone survivor of the expedition before war took him shortly after his return. Kala also claims to have Stalwart's original journal, with clues as to where his final resting place may be. Not one to pass up a good adventure, Jynn is now seeking others to join her and Kala on this treasure hunting expedition!

Is there really going to be treasure?

Why yes! Lunar has a stupid amount of gems in credit and intends to purchase treasure (an accessory) for each of the band's members at the completion of the mission.

I'm still planning out the clues, routes, etc. but ideally I'd like this to last a whole IC year or two. As much of the details are still open to debate, band members should feel free to DM me with ideas on the particular treasure they'd like to find and any legends, etc. that go along with it. Stalwart could definitely have had a whole team traveling with him that also shared his unfortunate fate.
