He followed along after her more than willingly, enjoying just the walk and the travel to wherever they would be laying their heads tonight. With the quietness of the forests and water below, it seemed all other life had taken shelter as the temperatures dropped the farther north they went. That was no problem with him, he wasn't looking forward to any mishaps that could happen on their journey and he was expecting just his time here with Ruse, no one else.
They started their descent into the sound, a place he had never seen before. He had ventured around the top plains and forests while he was out hunting, but he had never went looking for a trail that went further into the northern lands. There was no need to wander that far from home or at least into the regions he didn't care much for. Most predators and prey didn't linger where the temperatures changed, which was good for them he supposed.
He was careful to watch her as they made their way down the mountain path that was not much different than their new home on Alias but still not the same. He wasn't on edge but he was ready to jump forward and grab his sister if she slipped or lost her footing. He was not expecting the sights once they reached the bottom, like a hidden jewel so close to home he'd never known to look for. The mountain ranges provided a wall for the gusty winds of the ocean, but they could still be heard from here. When they reached the bottom he started for an area close to the cliffs for a little more shelter from the outside, unloading the things they brought and starting to set up a little camp. He took a moment to admire her, not really intentionally but he wasn't embarrassed to notice himself doing so. He'd wonder if she wanted to use any more daylight to find something to explore before they finally settled down here.
