The lull that settled between them was comfortable- at least for the moment. It seemed that retreating to a point of inner thought was what had been needed from both of them to bring the temperature back down. She was only vaguely aware of his presence when he came to crouch at her side. His voice was gentle, but this time it felt genuine, and she appreciated him for it. She heard her name on his tongue- the first time in over a year's time that she was acknowledged as an individual, and she found solace in it.
When he went on to describe Armada to be a different place, this time, she believed him. Heard his words, and took them for truth. As the flood of emotion dried up, she raised her chin from the ground to look at him. "What was her name?" Adelina asked softly. She wanted to know it, but also wanted to give him the opportunity to say it out loud if he chose to do so.
