Asheila hadn't spent much time at all with her new, or not so new younger siblings. Not for anything against them, she just stuck to herself most of the time. It was easier for her to find time with her family that lived in the castle because it was more day by day. Making plans was a bit more difficult for her and she didn't like to take anyone away from time they may have had in mind.

Tamsyn and the other half of her family came to visit for a little while though so she did finally take the opportunity to have some time with this part of her family. She was welcoming at least, just not very social. She'd grab her younger brother who she would just happen to come across at the time for a small hunt.

Hunting for prey inside the pack borders wasn't necessarily ideal, but the quiet time in the afternoon would do. They may not have gotten too lucky. At least not with larger game. But she had already prepared ahead of time for what she had in mind. She carried a net behind her as they made their way out towards the grove. Different types of birds were one of the few plentiful prey that frequented almost all of The Hallows. The grove was filled with trees and berry bushes though so that's what would draw them in and give them some cover as well.

With Malik beside her she gave him a quiet look as they ventured into the grove and listened for the sound of pigeons or other tweets or hopping nearby. It seemed they would catch onto their hunters though before they could be spotted, and a few flew off a little ways away. They'd have to find a quieter path to make their move. She'd let her brother take the lead if he wanted, but she was fine doing the same. They'd have to be on the same wavelength to communicate silently though.

As they walked across an unmarked path with less debris, they started to close in on the flock of pigeons, almost who-ing to each other as they sensed something amiss. Ash went to hand off a side of her net to her brother, and together they could throw it and hope for the best.
