A Klein? Hattori couldn’t say he was surprised, there weren’t many in Auster ever since Fenmyre had disbanded but he knew the same couldn’t be said for Boreas. The stranger had a pretty standard look to him, black with splodges of albinism, notably different from the koi markings he was usually surrounded with. The scent that wafted from his form wasn’t familiar, more earthy and dry, lacking the sea tint he knew Ashen to have. So was he from another pack? He could only assume so.

”Indeed." He confirmed, accent thick. He believed this man could stand on equal ground and footing, that there was no reason to hold it back.  ”Let us keep this civil. A good chance to practice for us both.”

Knowing that there was no time like the present, he gave his opponent a moment to square himself and ready his position and footing, before the proverbial bell was tolled. The match to begin. He closed the distance with long strides, moving straight and direct as he approached, his intent quite obvious. Not the sort to beat around the bush or use misdirection. They both had horns and strong necks, so why not take this as a chance to joust, so to speak. He dipped his head as he charged in close, intending to initiate a struggle, to see who could force the other to step back or concede ground.
