The way of a natural life they had together being alongside each other nearly their whole lives, everything felt simple with her. They could work easy with each other while they traveled and set up camp, and it made everything beyond that so much more rewarding. They'd at least get everything set up before dark but Cerb wouldn't light the fire just yet. As the sun started to set far on the other side of the mountains, it still melted through the skies in the east with different colored hues having that recognition of their home back on the isle. It was all the same sun and same skies. It was warming to him.

He had rested beside his sister just for those few moments of last light, leaning into her side and hoping that she enjoyed it just as much as he had. Everyone around him should have known him as a gentle soul, admiring the setting sun and beauty of their surroundings was a part of that. Just as the colors began to dim down in the skies he would rise again, finally starting the fire and poking around it until it was strong enough to hold for some time. He'd make pace to be by Ruse again once that final part of their camp was finished. He grabbed one of the pelts to put over his shoulders, laying down beside her before lifting his paw and inviting her in, "Come here." His voice was gentle in tone with a soft grin, ready to wrap her up in his arms and warm her up from the dropping temperatures.
