Skirmish in the Sand

Scald would gladly admit that Sparrow was attractive and even more so when he was about to go toe to toe with the older wolf. Wasn't it every boy's dream to get with an older gal? A smirk played on his lips as she returned his bow. "I wouldn' min' gettin' my ass kicked by you," he flirted, even adding a wink in to really drive home that he had probably had one sip too many that night.

Feeling courageous, he watched as she lifted from her bow and barreled right for him. Bracing himself as best as he could in the packed sand, he teetered to the side a moment too late. Catching her shoulder his own as she slammed into him, he felt the wind rush from his lungs. Man, the girl could pack a punch! As his eyes danced with stars, he fought to regain control of his body as her teeth grabbed ahold of his scruff. His upper lip curled in a snarl as he reached up to try and pull at her ear or cheek, whichever was closest. Swinging his rear end around, he spread his paws out to try and stabilize his body.
