It was perhaps not surprising that Desponia mostly found herself bored with the whole ordeal, she was playing nice, or well her version of nice at least. But the woman wasn't really one for keeping her displeasure to herself. She'd nodded and mhm'd her way through her encounter with her niece, doing her very best to keep the smug satisfaction of knowing she'd put the girl on her ass one time before from showing on her face, but well... Desponia was nothing if not a little petty and it was the only real thing she considered important about the girl. So it wasn't a total surprise she was being called for, but it did take a second to recall what had actually been said.

A training raid felt... beneath her. The woman wanted something she could really sink her teeth into, she was not a particularly violent wolf no but for some reason she had a lot of pent-up aggression and she could really use an outlet. Still better than nothing she supposed. The woman gave her niece and nephew a quick glance as she approached but she refused to scrape and bow to anyone, the acknowledgment she knew who they were and was here to listen was the best they were going to get. She settled herself away from the pale youth who had also already arrived, he seemed almost too eager around her niece and it skeeved her out.
